Every programme Equal Edge delivers is designed to remove barriers, build belonging, and create lasting positive change for individuals and communities across East London and Essex.

Cricket Coaching

Weekly coaching sessions for young people aged 8–18. Qualified ECB coaches, soft-ball beginners through to development squads. Equipment provided.

Bringing Cricket Back to State Schools

Partnering with state schools across East London and Essex to reintroduce cricket as a core sport. We bring coaches, lesson plans, and equipment directly into schools at heavily discounted rates.

Dedicated outreach to Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities across our boroughs — culturally sensitive programmes, multilingual support, and coaches who reflect our communities.

Structured, purposeful activity is one of the most proven tools for reducing youth crime and antisocial behaviour. We provide safe spaces, mentors, and programmes that give young people better choices.

Free Equipment for Training

Under our CIC model, training equipment is provided free to participants who need it most, and at a heavily discounted rate for partner schools and organisations. Helmets, bats, pads, balls — everything needed to play.

Dedicated women-only and girls-only sessions in cricket and fitness. Delivered by female coaches in culturally sensitive, private environments across all our boroughs.

Six-week workshop programmes covering teamwork, leadership, goal-setting, and healthy lifestyles. Delivered in schools, youth clubs, and community centres.

Adapted cricket and fitness sessions for participants with disabilities or special needs. Equipment, rules, and coaching adapted to ensure full, meaningful participation.
